My name is Tsuri Bar Yehuda. I am a digital artist and philosopher based in the artists’ village of Ein-Hod in Israel. I hold an interdisciplinary BSc in arts, humanities and sciences, an MSc in mathematics (focusing on logic and model theory), and an MA in philosophy specializing in the philosophy of mind. In the past, I also developed algorithms for 3D and AI software.

Over time, I have come to realize that these seemingly diverse fields of research converge toward a single, ultimate purpose: exploring consciousness and the metaphysical nature of reality through a synthesis of art, technology, and philosophy. By approaching the same ideas from different perspectives, I engage with them in distinct but complementary ways. I hope that this multifaceted strategy will enable me to glimpse at more than three faces of the cube at once, as it were.​

Through studying virtual worlds from artistic, technological, and philosophical perspectives, I have come to believe that consciousness is an independent feature of reality, irreducible to physical matter. I wonder whether AIs will ever be conscious or whether, in a sense, everything is conscious—a hypothesis commonly referred to as panpsychism. I am passionate about sharing my insights on these topics, learning from others, and refining my views in the process.
